Fresh off the success of their incredible adventure to Kokoda, the MHF ladies have set their sights on another ambitious challenge—an 8-day trek through New Zealand’s rugged Southern Alps.
Date: 01 April
Location: New Zealand
Event Description
On this extraordinary journey, our group of 20 ladies will hike through some of the most remote and breathtaking landscapes. They’ll climb high ridges to admire the majesty of New Zealand’s highest peak Aoraki/Mt. Cook, and of the dramatic Hooker Glacier. They’ll challenge themselves on the 1000m ascent to Mueller Hut through alpine scrub and tussock, boulder fields and finally a steep scree slope but will be rewarded by awe-inspiring views of the Mt Cook Range and the sheer ice walls of Mt. Sefton. The trek will continue over Rocky Mountain, to the summit of Ben Lomond Saddle, before descending into Queenstown.
