NRL Beanie for Brain Cancer Round 15 announced!
Thanks to the wonderful support of the National Rugby League we are pleased to announce the NRL Beanie Round will be held on June 17-20 – Round 15. The annual NRL Beanie for Brain Cancer Round was the brainchild of Matt Callander, who was working at Nine and bravely battling stage 4 Glioblastoma himself, who sadly lost his battle with brain cancer in October 2017 – the NRL Beanie for Brain Cancer round has become an iconic fixture on the rugby league calendar.
We invite everyone to attend a Round 15 NRL game and support your team while supporting our quest to defeat brain cancer. Wear a beanie, buy a beanie, make a donation – whatever you can do to help will make a difference!
With limited numbers of real people (alongside cardboard cutout fans) last year, we look forward to full stadiums of supporters all proudly wearing their beanies as we welcome back unrestricted crowds (let’s hope so anyway!).
You can still support the NRL Beanie round during round 15 from the comfort of your lounge room! We would love to see your MHF beanies on at home so purchase your beanies from June 1st online or instore from Lowes Australia-wide and participating IGA stores.
