2022 Hunter Brain Cancer Forum

The Forum, proudly supported by MHF and Dry July, is a day for patients, carers and their loved ones to hear specialists discuss a range of topics in relation to brain cancer. Guest speakers include, Medical Oncologist A/ Professor Craig Gedye, Radiation Oncologist Dr Mike Fay as well as Palliative Care Nurse Consultants, Clinical Psychologists and Neurosurgery Social Workers.

CanTeen, NSW Cancer Council, Brain Tumour Alliance Australia (BTAA) and Hunter Biobank will be in attendance to provide further support resources.

We look forward to welcoming our patients on the day as they build connections with other patients and their carers sharing experiences of each similar journey.

If you would be interested in joining the Forum please email Sharyn on enquiries@markhughesfoundation.com.au

Donate today & help beat brain cancer

Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in children, and adults aged under 40 in Australia, yet alarmingly very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how it is treated.

That’s why we need your help. Every dollar helps in the fight against brain cancer. Your donation will go towards vital research to improve patient treatments and, hopefully, find a cure one day.

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
