Through teamwork, partnerships and collaboration anything is possible. Thanks to generous community support, the Mark Hughes Foundation transformed fundraising into a $15 million investment in brain cancer research! The unique partnership forged with the University of Newcastle has enabled us to collaborate nationally and internationally on brain cancer research.
Built on trust and co-design, the collaboration established a national research centre, accelerated clinical breakthroughs, supported families, and demonstrated how shared purpose can deliver lasting scientific and human impact.
