Im fresh back from yet another awesome adventure to Borneo where 37 people that wanted to make a difference joined me and collectively we raised over $350,000 all going to brain cancer research! Each one of us raised money through friends, family and corporate support. Thank you to Adam and Belinda MacDougall from The Manshake and nib for again being this year’s major sponsors for the trek.
Without Bill Peden and Paul Harragon having a casual chat over Christmas drinks a few years back these treks would never have eventuated. How lucky are we that they did as we have now raised over 1 million dollars from all three trips which was Mount Everest last year and Kokoda in 2016. I cannot believe that our three life changing treks have raised this much money. The power of working together towards a common goal.
