In a year that began with us questioning whether or not to continue with our 2020 Beanie Campaign due to the looming pandemic and the great unknown we are thrilled to announce that for the 2020 Beanie for Brain Cancer Campaign raised over $2.65 million dollars through the sale of 150,000 beanies and through Beanie Day fundraisers. So THANKYOU!

The facts remain that brain cancer kills more people under 40 years than any other cancer and is the biggest killer of children under 10!  A simple decision by you to hold a Beanie Day Fundraiser or purchase a $25 beanie this year has meant that brain cancer is no longer the forgotten cancer so THANK YOU.

Firstly, it doesn’t happen without the NRL - National Rugby Leaguehank you for coming on board 4 years ago and joining our fight to help change the statistics of brain cancer. This allows us to spread awareness and raise funds through Channel 9, Fox League and all the other various media outlets who work so hard and unite for one common goal. This means to world to us.  Thank you to the Callander family for your continued support in memory of Matt, who without him the NRL Round would not have commenced.

To each NRL club, event managers, coaches and of course the players who make such a huge impact wearing and running out in the MHF beanies and raising awareness of brain cancer – THANK YOU!

To businesses such as Sportsbet who donated $50,000 as part of their pledge of $1,000 for every try scored – THANK YOU!

To Lowes and participating IGA stores who came on board again this year to sell our beanies – so many of our supporters purchased their beanies through these outlets – THANK YOU!

None of what we achieve is possible without you all coming together and joining our quest to defeat brain cancer.

If you still have donations to bank from your Beanie Day, please contact Sharyn [email protected] for banking details.
