The 4th Ladies Long Lunch was an incredible success, bringing together a room full of generous and inspiring women. Thanks to the overwhelming support on the day, an amazing $39,205 was raised to support our Ladies Trek to Everest Base Camp this November.
We were so grateful to be joined by our ambassadors and guest speakers, Sharon and Kaylee McKeown, who travelled from Queensland to share their inspiring story. A heartfelt thank you as well to our own Natasha Beyersdorf for bringing such incredible energy to the day as MC. We were so lucky to have some of Kaylee’s swimming memorabilia from the Paris Olympics on the day. Auctioneer extraordinaire, Jono Wilson did what he does best, getting the bidding rolling. In the end, the hammer came down to a very happy Hayley, representing our Everest trek major sponsor, Club Maitland City — such a great moment!
Thank you to the team at Earp Distilling Co for hosting us in such a stunning space, and to Blueberry Events for the beautiful styling that made the room feel so special. We also loved having Hey Tilly there, adorning so many guests with their permanent bracelets, and David Green Cartoonist, whose live caricatures brought so much fun and laughter to the room.
