NRL Beanie for Brain Cancer Round 17

The 2026 NRL Beanie for Brain Cancer Round is almost here, and we’re getting ready to turn stadiums across NSW and Queensland into a sea of MHF beanies from 25–28 June.

This year is extra special as we celebrate 10 years of the NRL Beanie Round — a decade of the rugby league community showing up in a big way for families impacted by brain cancer.

What started as a simple idea 12 years ago has grown into one of the game’s most recognised fundraising and awareness campaigns, helping fund vital brain cancer research, patient care and support services for those facing this devastating disease.

From local footy fans to packed NRL stands, players and supporters will once again come together to wear their beanies with pride. Every beanie represents hope, raises awareness and reminds families affected by brain cancer that they’re not facing this journey alone.

So, grab your mates, dust off your old MHF beanies or pick up this year’s new one and get to a game. Let’s make our 10th Beanie for Brain Cancer Round the biggest one yet and show the brain cancer community the strength of the rugby league family.

Don’t have your 2026 beanie yet? The Watermelon Crush and Khaki Combo beanies will be available at all Round 17 games.

Donate today & help beat brain cancer

Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in children, and adults aged under 40 in Australia, yet alarmingly very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how it is treated.

That’s why we need your help. Every dollar helps in the fight against brain cancer. Your donation will go towards vital research to improve patient treatments and, hopefully, find a cure one day.

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
